If you are unsure whether microblading is suitable for you, please contact Anna Microblading before booking. In
some cases, written confirmation from your GP or medical professional may be required.
Immediately After Treatment
After your treatment, your brows may appear darker, bolder and more defined than expected. This is completely
normal.
During the first few days, you may also experience:
* mild redness
* slight tenderness
* dryness
* tightness
* light scabbing or flaking
* darker colour before fading
The colour will soften as the skin heals.
Healing Process
The healing process is different for every client.
Your brows may go through several stages, including:
* looking very dark at first
* becoming dry or flaky
* appearing patchy
* fading more than expected
* looking lighter before the colour settles
This is normal and part of the healing process.
The final healed result can only be properly assessed once the skin has fully healed.
Aftercare Instructions
Please follow these aftercare instructions carefully:
* keep the brow area clean and dry
* do not touch the brows with unwashed hands
* do not pick, scratch or remove any flakes or scabs
* avoid makeup on or around the brows while healing
* avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs
* avoid sunbeds and strong sun exposure
* avoid heavy sweating and intense exercise for the advised period
* avoid facial treatments, peels, acids and retinol around the brows
* avoid applying unapproved creams, oils or skincare products to the brows
* follow any specific aftercare instructions given by Anna Microblading

Picking or scratching the brows may cause pigment loss, scarring, infection or poor healed results.
What to Avoid During Healing
During the healing period, please avoid:
* swimming
* sauna or steam rooms
* sunbeds
* direct sun exposure
* heavy workouts and excessive sweating
* makeup on the brows
* brow tinting, waxing or threading
* exfoliating products
* retinol or acids
* touching the brows unnecessarily
* sleeping directly on your face where possible
Signs of Possible Complications
Some mild redness, tenderness and dryness can be normal after treatment.
However, you should contact Anna Microblading and seek medical advice if you experience:
* severe swelling
* increasing pain
* pus or discharge
* excessive redness or heat around the area
* fever or feeling unwell
* rash, hives or signs of allergic reaction
* symptoms that become worse instead of improving
If symptoms are severe or you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.
Long-Term Care
To help maintain your brows for as long as possible:
* avoid excessive sun exposure
* use SPF once the brows are fully healed
* avoid strong skincare products directly over the brows
* avoid frequent exfoliation over the brow area
* follow maintenance advice given by Anna Microblading
Microblading naturally fades over time. Colour boosts or maintenance appointments may be recommended to keep
your brows looking fresh.
Top-Up Appointment

A top-up appointment is usually recommended around [4-8 weeks] after your initial treatment.
This appointment allows Anna Microblading to check the healed result and make any necessary adjustments.
Without a top-up, the final result may be lighter, patchier or less defined.
Important Notice
Following aftercare instructions is essential for the best possible results.
Anna Microblading cannot be held responsible for poor healing, pigment loss, infection or unsatisfactory results
caused by failure to follow aftercare advice.
